Should I get dressed up?

 

That is totally up to you! However, we will have a Ladies’ Hat Contest, so we hope you will regale us by wearing your Derby Day hat to the event. Maybe you’ll be the one that wins the prize!

 

How do I register to bid on an auction item?

 

On Monday, May 2nd, you can start bidding on live auction items and donate to our Fund-A-Need! Live auction items will only be available for online bidding through Friday, May 6th and then only available to bid on at our in person event on Saturday, May 7th at Mulvaney's Restaurant in Sacramento. Fund-A-Need will remain open for online donations until Monday, May 9th. To start bidding you'll need to:

·       Click the link: https://derbyday2022.ggo.bid.

·       Click the “Get Started” button on the right.

·       Click the green “Create Account” button.

·       Enter your email address (twice), check the “I’m not a robot” box, and click “Confirm”.

·       Check your inbox for a verification email (check your junk/spam folder if you did not receive it).

·       Verify payment method, billing address, email address, and mobile number.

·       Click the “Create” button to complete your account.

 

How do I bid on auction items?

 

·       Search for the live auction items of your choice.

·       You can bid the next increment or “Bid More” than the next increment. If you choose “Bid More” you can set your maximum bid. If your maximum bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor until you are outbid or the auction closes.

·       To “watch” a package, select the star icon on the package.

·       You will be notified by text and/or email if you are outbid at any point before the auction closes and will see an “Outbid” notice at the top of the screen.

·       To get back to the main screen, click the home button at the top.

·       To view the items you have bid on, click the menu button and select “Bids”.

 

If I win an auction item, how will I receive it?

 

Winning bidders will be able to pick up their auction item(s) at the event. However, if you need to make different arrangements, please contact Doni DeBolt at ddebolt@wayfinderfamily.org or at 916-678-7254.
